If you don’t know what you’re looking for, it’s hard to find much of anything. The challenge of the web is the search box, for the same reason. It’s efficient once you’re on a mission, but it requires you to go first. And the chat interface of Claude and ChatGPT is more of the same. Faced with infinite choice, what we really need is a guide.
